I love this mask!
Can I ask what it is made out of?

Thank you!!
It's made of real leaves. I gathered them and used them while they were still flexible. I glued them to the paper-mache mask form with superglue and then painted them with a glossy medium so that they wouldn't be so brittle. =)

Oh my goodness, this is amazing! I am so impressed...it is beautiful. You really have a talent for this. The leaves add such a nice texture in embellishing the outline of a typical mask... <3

Thank you!! I only wish now that I could get them so the leaves don't become so dang fragile. ^^;

No kidding, you have to preserve it! Hmm...there must be something out there that you can coat on. I know I've seen something like that before, but go figure I can't remember what it was called. I bet if you went to an art store and explained they could come up with something!

I've tried using a thin glossy medium, but it's amazing how fragile leaves get, and so fast, too. =P

Hmm...I don't know what this would do to the leaves, but what about clear nail polish?
